Who We Are

​

We believe that the Church thrives when each and every generation is effectively equipped to lead the church with courage, humility, and a Christ-centered vision.

​

We desire to identify and mentor new leaders to carry the mission of Jesus forward with strength and impact. This is because the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Luke 10:2).

​

Our purpose is to call, disciple, and care for regional church leaders. Two Scriptures are driving this purpose. Matthew 4:19 states, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” In Acts 14:22, church leaders are “strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith.”

​

We are board-led, whereby each board member takes an active role. Historically, CEM was all about church planting. We will still plant churches if the opportunity arises; however, that will not be our primary mission in the near future.

​

We are committed to relationally investing in regional church leaders and their spouses. This commitment is seen through ministry residencies, cohorts, collaborative training with other organizations, and regional church gatherings.
